THE WONDER OF BIRDS

Creativity sometimes can be left to the beauty of the initial sketch. Heres a poster design for the Wonder Of Birds expo where they exhibit a wide range of taxidermy birds from all around the world. My idea really focuses on the specific element of what exactly make birds wonderful. Birds ability to fly is one of the wonders of the natural world and I wanted to focus on the beauty of the complexity of the wing through illustration. I visited many taxidermy shops to collect first hand research and photographs to help me produce this poster. The hand illustrated approach showed me that you don't always have to go straight on the mac to produce a striking peice of design.
